Our Living Churchyard
Our beautiful churchyard supports a rich variety of flora and fauna and for many years much of it has been set aside for the benefit of wildlife. Now, with the introduction of our Ecocongregation project, a more pro-active management programme has been initiated. A copy of this draft plan is being posted on the website.
A survey of flora has also been carried out by the Biodiversity unit of Hampshire County Council, in cooperation with DEFRA and the Hampshire Wildlife Trust. The results of this survey can be seen by clicking on the 'Shedfield Churchyard Survey' link, following the appendices.
